Kurdistan President discusses situations in Iraq with US Senator
According to a press release from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq’s presidency, Nechirvan Barzani, the region’s president, and Lindsey Graham, a US senator, spoke on Tuesday about the most recent events in the country and the area.
Graham was welcomed by Barzani along with a delegation that included senior American officers, diplomats, and the US ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski, as well as the commander of the international coalition troops, John Brennan.

According to the statement, all parties emphasized the significance of upholding security and stability in the area and concurred that terrorism and the resurgence of ISIS pose a serious danger to the security and stability of both Iraq and Syria.
