Iraq’s Ministry of Health meets with WHO
Baghdad Recently, the World Health Organization (WHO), a nonprofit group that promotes health safety, met with the Iraqi Ministry of Health to discuss enhancing health systems, health information systems, and the response to diseases that are likely to spread quickly in Iraq.
The gathering took place in Baghdad as part of a specialist program organized by the Ministry of Health to increase public knowledge of the importance of disclosing dangers and interacting with the neighborhood during medical emergencies.
Hani Al-Aqabi, the Iraqi minister of health, and Dr. Ahmed Zouiten, the WHO representative in Iraq, were present.
